NSF's Office of Polar Programs, which manages the U.S. Antarctic Program, and its Colorado-based Antarctic logistics support contractor, ASC Leidos, have issued a "Sources Sought Notice" for the replacement of the pier at Palmer Station on the Antarctic Peninsula.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) will make a major upgrade to the pier at the U.S. Antarctic Program's Palmer Station. NSF's Office of Polar Programs is currently in the process of finalizing the plans and designs needed to prepare for construction in the coming months.
